Day 10: My Ten Favourite Foods

by on

This one might be a tough one!! I love food, but I don’t think I have ever written a list of my favourites!!

The top one has got to be Chinese!! I could eat this everyday, well I think I could! I’m not sure what it is about it, but I just love it. Even since cutting out meat I haven’t missed it as we have a bean curd dish instead and it is still soooo good!! When we were in New York we went to a top rated Chinese in Chinatown and it was amazing – however I am gutted that I didn’t get the dumplings!! Next time!

Another favourite has got to be pizza – again when we were in New York we ate quite a lot of pizza, ranging from dollar slice to a restaurant pizza which had vodka tomato base! 😍😍😍 I have been trying my best to create the closest thing since and I feel we are pretty close – Just need a pizza oven and we would be set!

Ramen is a strong fav in our house! I have to admit, I had never eaten ramen until last year! But now its probably a weekly meal for us. We mix up the other ingredients but its mainly tofu and veggies with a soft boiled egg and noodles!

Poached eggs are my go to food! If I am feeling lazy and cant be bothered to make an effort with food or I fancy them up if I can be bothered! I love them with a bagel and some avocado!

Bagels! This is another food that I could eat everyday. Recently we started putting a peanut butter filled bagel in the sandwich press and it has changed our life!! They are delicious! We got some jam for the first time in ages this week so am going to try a pb&j grilled bagel soon!

Sushi – I used to a be a strong no on sushi, and then I tried the sort you get in plastic boxes from Tesco or M&S and then I really liked it. I then graduated and had the sushi from restaurants and proper sushi places and now I really really like it. I don’t eat a lot of meat or fish so stick to the veggies an omelette types! Oh man, now I want sushi!!!

My Mums mushroom lasagna is so good and I think it would be a travesty if it was not included in this list! Mum has been a vegetarian forever but somehow managed to make it taste quite meaty! I bloody love it! I might request it next time we are able to go and see them!

Does a cup of tea count? I’m going to add it because I love a cuppa!! I know its a bit of an old lady thing to admit but you just cant beat a good one! tea☕️

Peanut butter!! I cannot believe this hasn’t been included sooner!! I LOVE peanut butter, in fact anything with peanuts in I am a fan of! I have managed to pass eating it straight from the jar to Ezra!! 🤦🏼‍♀️😂

I like most fruits but I think Watermelon is my favourite! It is so good when you are on holiday and it has been in the fridge!! 🍉🍉

That was so much harder than I thought it was going to be! I am a bug food lover so picking my top 10 was not easy!! Haha!

I hope you enjoyed this post and are now not craving pizza or sushi like I am!!
